This is an excellent game. A bit on the complex side, but lots of fun. Its the type of game you can get lost in.

Nice game, went over really well and it was refreshing that it did not take forever to conquer the game and you did not leave feeling like you were lacking in the I.Q. dept. Gameplay is nice and smooth and it was easily addicting.

This book contains a lot of information for playing as and playing against the various civilizations in the game. Best part about it IMHO is the coverage of the various civs as well as the recommendations for which tech to select and when.

This book contains a little info that can help you strategize. Not an absolute necessity. Nothing awe inspiring.
