Editorial Reviews:

Driving Force Pro is a racing wheel that offers the very best in on-screen control. Enjoy more realism, more racing intensity and more fun than ever, with your favorite PS2 racing games!

User Comments about the Playstation 2 Driving Force Wheel

Not to mention the added feature of displaying a steering wheel on the screen so that you don't have to look at your hands (not an in-car view, get GT5 Prologue for that). Gran Turismo 4's driving experience gets a whole lot better with this wheel and pedals. It will feel like a new game as the realism is enhanced. I definately recommend it.

Many of the folding tables and TV stands are too unstable and/or too thick. The internet is filled with positive reviews about the Driving Force Pro -- so I'll add to the mix, but with a different spin.PROS: The wheel itself is great, with solid construction, good "force feedback", and excellent compatibility with my Sony PS2. I ended up buying a small computer desk for $20 from a nearby W***art store. Very little learning curve, as this set-up is much more "natural" in the context of a driving game rather than a controller pad.CONS: The price is still high (though this website is among the cheapest), and it absolutely requires a STRONG, THIN tabletop for mounting. I'm playing it mainly with GT4 and a little Burnout Revenge -- no problems. The clamps open no more than 1.25 inches. So expect to add this cost to the total price.Overall, a good purchase.

I built a really sturdy one for $25 at lowes. Strapping it on as table just plain sucks. Great wheel AAA+ but has to mounted on a stand or mount to be fun. Do a check on the net and find a race cradle to make out of PVC. Makes the best racing game even better.

This is just great PERIOD. I just love it and it just is about perfect IMO.

I bought it for my husband birthday. When he saw it, he could not wait to tried that for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3 game). It is very easy setup and he said much better than use PS3 WIRELESS CONTROLLER.
