It's absolutely terrible in this game. After reading many glowing reviews about this game, I decided to pick it up. Characters jump across the screen rather than move smoothly. This makes the game all but unplayable for me. What a mistake. Whoa. FRAME RATE. So much potential here, if only they'd have made it like a PS2 game should be made, instead of the choppy frame rates of PS1 times.
I don't have internet access at home, hence no ability to play the multiplayer section, so that may explain why I didn't cotton to it. Battlefront doesn't have characters with any depth at all. On the good side, it has the Star Wars feel, and you can play both the rebel and imperial sides. Playing this game made me want to watch the films, rather than continue with the game. Fix these items in future games, and it may be captivating. Lots of weapons, vehicles, etc. I'm new at playing this kind of game and had a hard time making certain features work properly.
You don't feel like you're part of anything. From the single player perceptive, this game would have been great fun if it played more like Call of Duty. Battles last only a few minutes -- sometimes, as I ran to the front the battle ended before I even fired a shot. If you're interested in this game, I suggest buying it used.
Excellent game but I bought the wrong one when buying this, however I received the product very promptly and when I returned it, I was reimbursed promptly. Very good dealers.

My son loves this game. I can hear him playing it from the other room and it's cool how the game will tell him which way to go by stating comments such as "over here". Great game.
