That happened to me on many GC Controllers so it's best to stick with a controller that can actually lite up for a long time, other than that the controls were working excellent except for the Analog Stick. But the next day when I played one of the lights went out. I bought this controller thinking it would lite up really bright. So now I have two of these dang controllers sitting on ledge collecting dust. I ran away so it wouldn't explode. I played a couple games and I was satisfied: excellent controls, nice lite-up feature. Another raw detail is the the Analog Stick wasn't moving but the character on the scream was moving. I wouldn't play them after they burn out, I did it once and all of the controlls were going zany.
Maybe this damn controller made my other ones go crappy too. I saw the controller laying there I restarted my game and no lite. I really didn't care about that, until the whole controller burned out releasing smoke into the air. My cousin also exclaimed, "Madcats, will always burn your GC out" , llucky it didn't happen to me. Well, it's a guess but I don't know what the hell's wrong with this.
I bought this for my daughter and she just loves it.Really cool glow in the dark feature.Now I have to buy her brother one.
BOTTOM LINE: THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST CONTROLLERS MADE FOR GAMECUBE SO STAY AWAY FROM IT'S EVIL WRATH. THIS IS DEFINITLY THE WORST GAMECUBE CONTROLLER I HAVE EVER OWNED. DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER IF YOU WANT A QUALITY ITEM.I HOPE THIS REVIEW WAS HELPFUL. THIS IS TO HELP YOU NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID WHEN PURCHASING THIS ACESSORY. WHY. 15 DOLLARS IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS CONTROLLER AND IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK CORRECTLY. BECAUSE OF THESE THINGS:- WHEN ON ROOT MENU ON GAME, CURSOR MOVES WITHOUT STOPPING- DOESN'T GLOW OR EVEN LIGHT UP- NEVER STOPS VIBRATINGWHEN I WAS PLAYING "HARVEST MOON" I EXPERENCED ALL THESE THINGS AT ONCE.
I ENDED UP RETURNING IT TO BEST-BUY THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I TRIED TO GET IT TO LIGHT UP, ALL IT DID WAS VIBRATE. WHEN I WAS ON THE LOAD SCREEN, THE CONTROLLER STARTED SCROLLING THROUGH SELECTIONS WITHOUT ME EVEN TOUCHING IT. I JUST LEFT IT THERE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, AND IT NEVER STOPPED. (JUST KIDDING)
