User Comments about the Xbox Dance Mat

submitting this review on behalf of my daughter who has spent hours playing with Dance Dance Revolution. Seems to be great fun and I only hope she does not come through the ceiling.

The products didn't arrive yet and I still wait for the refund. In spite this problem I like the game we play with this mat.

We haven't had problems with slippage or slow response (but then again we are amatures). We received the dance mat for Christmas last year. For the kids, it works great. I do think this is a good mat for a beginner.

I've been used to getting 200+ combos on standard difficulty on most of the songs and with this pad I'm lucky if I can get a 20 combo on the easier songs. The pad also seems to be a bit more narrow than others I've used which threw me off a little at first but wasn't too hard to adjust to since the difference isn't really that great.I always wear socks when using my Konami pad and I would not recommend doing that with this pad. I love playing DDR Ultramix 2 and have been looking around for a replacement soft pad for some time, my original Konami pad still works but is starting to have some problems. The top and bottom of the pad seem to slide on eachother and a couple times that almost caused me to lose my balance. With bare feet it isn't quite so bad but it is still uncomfortable and you still need to be more careful than you would with the standard Konami pad.I really wish that Konami sold their soft pads seperately because that's about the only soft pad I've used that has held up for any amount of time and worked great. I've used this pad for two days and it's now going to stay in the closet for emergency only. My quest for a new pad started with the Red Octane Ignition 2.0 pad but after returning 3 of them to the store due to the down arrows not functioning after about a week I figured I may as well buy something cheaper if it isn't going to be as good as my Konami pad has been.So I picked up this pad and was hoping that it would at least function as good as my now failing Konami pad but that isn't nearly the case. The arrows are unresponsive and when they do register, they're not as fast as other pads I've used. When my Konami pad finally does become too damaged to function anymore I don't know what I'm going to do, but I surely won't turn to Intec for a solution.
