(with all the trees and stuff) it's awesome. i don't know what the people that rated it 1 star is thinking. sometimes it gets a little aggravating when your typing because it takes forever to type. but i think this is much easier than a walkie talkie, and it's a must have. it may have some flaws, but its still an awesome accessorie. but this item is fantastic. this can reach up to about a mile and a half. have fun.
Range is disappointing. This is not a very good item. The second problem is that both of our messengers would at random upon turning on forget our "buddy list", making it impossible to send a message to a sleeping unit. Makes the whole thing useless. It might work well out in the country, but my girlfriend and I weren't able to keep signal with each other on the same university campus (and we were only halfway across campus, about a quarter mile away, she was in a building). First the problem is the range. It also worked less than a quarter mile away from our apartment. Overall this product could've been really cool, but it felt like they gave about 63% of possible effort into making it.
Then I saw it was 3 miles. I was out in New York and I saw this toy for forty bucks. I thought it was 300 feet. One day I was at Best Buy and I saw it. For months I was trying to find this on amazon or something. It was 14.99. This Is Awesome.
im thinking about bying this for a friend because its only 5 bucks at walmart. (.). (picto chat) but if i get this for my friend, will he be able to send messages to me. but wat i really want to know is, is it capable of comunicating with the ds. i have a ds and i love it, and it has an instant messenger built in. thank you so much.
Me i tell you. Thank you so very much. Like I was having a dream that I could chat on my GBASP, and what do I see the next day at Wal-Mart. I am I tell you. Oh yeah. Also i suppose try and find a Wal-Mart in your area[or come to mukwonago,WI, I mean who's stoppin ya] that is movin'. Well I'll tell you; I found this taught thing for only ten bucks at a Wal-Mart that was changing its location and had it on clearance.
And what did I say. That this thing totally rocks and you must buy it. This thing is cool. Whoa man this thing really is a cool idea if it works i said. This thing is taught. This thing I tell you. Now what have we learned. It works great and who's the happy one in this purchase.
Now WHO was having a lucky day. Sure. And guess wat. And what else is sooooo cool about this situation. And you, too will experience the lucky day I've had.
