I bought a few extra of these just to have on hand as I expand my AV system. While Monster and many other companies sell their "high end" optical cables with all sorts of features, they are still just optical cables. So I just received these cables this week and all I can say is that for the price you just can't beat this deal. I have these cables connected to both a Blu-Ray player as well as my cable box and the sound quality is great. This is a bargain for this price.
why would you spend $20+ on a cable like this in-store when this one does the EXACT same thing for 1/10th the price.It sounds great, is solid, and arrived VERY quickly. Don't hesitate to buy it. Seriously.

Then I looked on some message boards the had some similar problems and they informed me that the plastic nubs inside the plug are just a cover and I needed to remove them. At first I had problems hooking up this product from my PS3 to the sound system. The plug just wouldn't seem to fit in, and I thought I bought the wrong product. Knowing this the plugs finally fit in both systems and I now have digital sound.
Worried about Judder on your optical cable.If so, you've been bamboozled by marketing no-nothings that are trying to sell you a cable to solve a problem that doesn't exist.Goodbye Monster. Hello cheap cable.
