User Comments about the Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2

You have to read the instructions well to understand how each game is played and how many people can play. A friend of ours had the wii version of DDR ultramix and we had so much fun that we started researching for DDR ultramix for the xbox version because thats what we have and we didn't want to spend more money for the wii. We found DDR games and dance pads on amazon and they work just as good. Its great for parties or just the family and you get a great workout.

I like the game but some of the songs i don't like. I got tired of it pretty quick but thats probably just me.

I am adding it to my exercise regimen. And it also did this with certain songs I attempted to select--the song would start then immediately cut to the calorie screen. in the middle of stepping through a song under "Workout" and the game just randomly exits to the calorie chart, and then to the menu and flies through all the song selections on the menu without my selecting any of that. Wow, this game is something else.

This is perfect for people trying to lose weight. Right now, I like the "Workout" option where you can see how many calories you're burning. It's not really about dancing; it seems a little more like step aerobics. I have had a problem with the game going crazy on me, i.e. It might just be the disc needs cleaning or a problem with my XBOX drive.

This also makes the game more challenging. I think some of the step moves they put on the "beginner" option are too hard for a beginner, but most are reasonable. As mentioned, there are many options and several songs, including some familiar ones like "Brickhouse" by The Commodores. I also think the steps don't make sense with the music selected sometimes, or perhaps some of the songs just don't make sense to step to. To sum up, this game is great.

The songs are better and quest mode is really fun. I play this game with my 10 year old and we like it a lot. We got this game after playing DDR Ultramix 3 for several months and we like 3 better. I do like Ultramix 2 and would recommend it but if you are new to DDR, get Ultramix 3.

More advanced look on this game, than it looks on Ultramix 1. This game is the next DDR that comes after Ultramix 1. If your even new to DDR, this one is also a good game, since it has the "BEGINNER" option to choose from, unlike Ultramix 1. But also harder ones. It has better songs, more easier ones in my opinion. Seems like there is also more songs on here to choose from. Check this game out.
