I can't recommend this game enough, it's that awesome. A must have for any Splinter Cell fan.
I had already played this game through countless times on my playstation 2 and bought it for my xbox 360 so I could play the onine co-op with my cousin. The graphics are amazing even compared to the new next-gen titles and the game play will make you never want to put your controller down. Definetly a must play for any gamer who likes action and stealth based games, and the online co-op is the best in the series.
Tons of way of completing each level. This is the best Splinter Cell game in my opinion, I still haven't played Double Agent, will be in a couple of days. But I loved this one, the graphics are the best I've seen and gameplay is crazy. It was a must buy at its original cost and it really is at this price.
Grab them through Japanese paper doors. All a lot of fun. Really gorgeous.- Soundtrack/score is top notch (Amon Tobin). There is some additional music from fake rock bands scattered throughout the game on radios for a nice touch. Even the added touch of foreign computers having their own particular cultural sounds when you turn them on/off. I like the multi-cultural immersion.- Co-op with modified levels- Long game- Glitch free.
Good touch.- Items/gadgets still cool, hacking is especially cool- They lightened up on the alarms concept- As with other Splinter Cell games, the scope is global and these spy agencies are real. I'd place it right under Halo, Halo2, Half-Life2 and right above Doom3 in the top 5 best xbox games of all time. This game is glorious. Listen to the track during the boat mission in which you toss people overboard. At one point, you are technically "at war".- Solid upgrade overall over other splinter cell games. No complaints here folks. There are a few hooks that simply make this game fun.- Graphics are beautiful.
Game also reminds you how to do them while loading. No consulting the internet to figure out what went wrong.- The story doesn't blame everything on Arabs or Islamic fundamentalism. Knock them out from behind doors. When a game designer goes to these lengths, you really have something worth while.- Cool new moves. It's more beautiful than most Hollywood scores. Ability to knock people over and pull them down from ledges is cool.
The bad guys are a combo of home grown and global.
=) I used to have the original Splinter Cell on the Xbox but that game is nowhere even near the quality of Pandora Tomorrow and esp Chaos Theory. The water even glistens on Sam Fisher's clothing and gear. I picked up Chaos Theory and Pandora Tomorrow the other day and I have to tell you that I am impressed to say the least. I thought the graphics from The Chronicles of Riddick were amazing, but Chaos Theory wins hands-down in that category. What's really neat is that the first level is the lighthouse level they show on tv. The graphics are amazing and soooo detailed. Granted you will more than likely be repeating levels more than once since you will get your tail handed back to you sometimes. Pick this one up.
Happy gaming. That was awesome to rip that dude off the top of the lighthouse. How cool is that. From an adult's point of view, if you enjoy stealth games with amazing graphics and enjoy a level a day after a long day at work, then by all means pick this one up as well as Pandora tomorrow. =)
