User Comments about the Nyko Wireless Headset for Xbox Live

The hook that holds it on your ear is so soft that the headset just flops around on the side of your head. For the price, I expected more than I got. You have to keep your head tilted to the side to keep it in your ear. Also, the rechargeable battery dies very fast. The sound quality is as good as the headset that came free with the Xbox Live subscription. It works alright. Too bad you can't keep the earpiece in your ear so you can hear it. It's a good idea, not very well executed.

i got mine today and charged it up it worked awesome after i charged it up to full at first it was a little confusing though but if you read the directions you should be fine and you need a xbox communicator thing the thing that goes on top and that lights up green or red to use it

I don't know about other gamers, but I binge on games. or days.I called customer support (GS won't take it back after a week) and was told that they only offer to replace the product or give you alternate products from their line. While the sound was clear, it wasn't nearly loud enough. The other problem is the fact that the darned thing wouldn't stay in my ear. I have earbuds with the same exact earcup, but because of the weight of the earpiece (which isn't much, but enough) it kept slowly slipping off of my ear. I wouldn't recommend this item because of the ill-fit, the loudness (or lack thereof), and the poor warranty.

I'm probably going to ebay this turkey. I purchased this one and had about a minute to play with it before catching a plane ride for a week's vacation. I was incredibly eager for this headset to come out after my Logitech headset worked so poorly. I had to ask folks to repeat things. It's wireless, sure, and it is clear, but is extremely lacking in other areas. When I got home, I again tried it out and found that I was not terribly pleased.

I wasn't happy, but what can you do. I'll probably give up and wait for Xbox2 to worry about wireless again. When I get a chance to play, it is for several hours. A bit annoying if you're playing a game. Then came the problem with the battery. My end of the conversation was only slightly distorted however. I found that after a time, the headset wouldn't hold a charge for more than a half-hour.

A shame, too, since I spent a pretty penny on a logitech wireless controller.

Which means I had to spend an additional 30$ for a communicator. WARNING: I could not use it unless I already had an Xbox live communicator. I was rather impressed by the idea of going full wireless with my Logitech Wireless Controller and Nyko Wireless headset for Xbox Live. It will not connect unless it is plugged into the com part of the xbox communicator. If you can get a cheap communicator then its definetely worth it.
