It really does what it is supposed to.It is nice and comfortable, even after hours of gameplay. The sound really does rock and games are a lot more immersive than before. First of all about the first review: Why give it only 1 star because the product was broken when you received it. Did it carrier break in transit or did you pick a broken one up in a store.
But wait, that's not all. You can also use it to watch movies, even just watching regular TV is a different experience.Here's a tip: Hook up some additional speakers to the audio out and voila: Instant surround sound (well, almost).Quality of this product is very good and I expect to use it for quite some time to come.I promise, you will spend even more time in front of the boob tube. If you contacted pyromat and/or the store you bought it from and they didn't do anything, then say so. Don't blame pyromat for you getting a broken unit.

the lounger is every modern couch potatoes dream it intensifies every motion word and whisper. it makes sound physical with booming bass and quality sound. what ever you do buy it
I like it cause the tv doesn't have to blaring to play the vid game, because the speakers are right next to his ears. I just bought one of these chairs for my husband for Christmas 2004. I sat in it momentarily and thought it was quite comfortable. He's a computer guy and as most of us know they have a tendency to be gamers as well. He hasn't gotten off this thing yet. It was an easy setup and worked instantly. Don't hesitate anymore, just buy it - you won't regret it.
Totally inoperative right out of the box. What a disappointment.
