These are great because there are two of them for one plug in and they haven't broke like the one I got for Christmas and only used once.
If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten different controllers. Controllers appear to be a bit buggy. Hight latency and EMI appears to affect them easily. You get what you pay for with this one.
Pads work great. They are worth ever penny I spent on them. Great price.
You can use regular batteries but within a days use,it will lose power. I am very happy with this product.(Pros) You can play games up to 30ft,away. No more cords to tangle up,and come unpluged(Cons) For the best performance you will need to use rechargeable batteries.
Unlike others, I haven't had any issues with serious lag. In reality, they are cheaply made. In summary, listen to these reviews, because these controllers are so cheaply made. The buttons are no larger than the tip of an eraser on a pencil. So I decided to get these for the awesome price for a two pack. These are just some cheaparse controllers, but my biggest gripe is the buttons. I don't even use them, and just let the kids have them.
You'll be able to tell this the first time you pick it up. While they are low cost, you will get frustrated with them. I don't have a large hand, and I'm constantly hitting the white or black button underneath the green button. The Good: they are the price of one regular Xbox controller, and the battery life is pretty good.
Since getting a 360 this year, I've been in love with the wireless controller. They have pretty much worked all the time for me and my kids. Unless you're buying these for kids, don't waste your money. I'm guessing that I got a good 70 hours out of my Energizer, before having to change them. In the picture they look very solid and durable. Its more like a toy than an Xbox controller. The buttons are so small, that only a child can push them.
They aren't built solid as most Madcatz and Xbox controllers. The Bad: You get what you paid for with these controllers. The plastic in parts of the controller is so weak, that it easily gives if pressure is applied. Either stay away from these or buy some other wireless controller if possible.
