There is one problem with the game. I would recommend the game to people, but if its a choice between NFS Carbon or NFS Most Wanted, I would recommend Carbon. I am not talking about the typical NFS unrealism, I am talking about utter unrealism. Other than the complete unfairness in the car choices, the game is amazingly fun. This game would have you believe otherwise. The Need for Speed series has been an EXCELLENT series from the beginning.
NFS: Most Wanted is an excellent game. It is in a day time setting, which isn't my favorite as I prefer the night settings.
This is no exception. The game makes you buy the most recent car unlocked if you want to continue on your journey of street racing and it is kind of a burden on the game.
The police chases are fun. Of course, this is an exaggeration, but not by much.
The cars are tiered, the more you pay for the car stock, the faster the car is. It is very unrealistic.
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure a souped up, tuned, twin-turbo MKIV Supra can beat a stock Gallardo. The storyline - well, the storyline is a typical NFS storyline.
In fact, I'd buy it for [.]. I love it. This game isn't so difficult that you have to give up because there is no possible way it can be beaten (like the GranTurismo games), but it's also not so easy it's boring. I like it a lot better than Underground 2. for this game and think it's worth every penny.
I paid [.]. Well, Most Wanted is the most exciting thing the Need for Speed franchise has ever done. I've always loved the Need for Speed games, ever since the very first one came out on PlayStation 1. But that's beside the point. I love this game. My only regret is that this game isn't newer and doesn't have the cool cars that ProStreet and Undercover have. One of my favorite things about this game is the high speed chases, the daylight (instead of it being dark all the time like Underground 2 and Carbon), and the nitrous refueling (you don't have a limited amount of nitrous and it recharges itself, you don't have to do tricks to boost it).
The free roam option is a lot of fun. Like I said, this game has the perfect amount of everything. The city is fun to explore and very well laid out. The point is that this game is perfect. The story line is simple and easy to follow and comprehend (unlike Carbon). and still feel like I got a good deal.
I don't know how they fit so much gameplay into such a tiny disc. this game is clearly the best game. At the end you get to jump an unfinished bridge.(-:GET GAME.
This is the best racing game that I've ever played. It beats Carbon, and definetly Pro Street. I think nothing will beat this game until November 17, 2008 because of the new Need For Speed Undercover.
It's only downfall, to me, was it's limited car selection (although it the ones it does have are all cool). I love racing games.but this car game is slightly different than the normal racing games I play. It has to be one of the most intense racing type games I have ever played. Like any other car game, you win, get more money race harder people, buy faster cars, but the police aspect of this game is what makes it exciting, the racing is OK.
