Editorial Reviews:

Get an unheard-of 128Mb data storage capacity for your GameCube. One NYKO 128Mb memory card holds upto thirty-two times more data than a standard memory card. With the 128Mb card, gamers can instantly cut down on all Memory Card clutter. The card works just like a standard memory card, and is safe from corruption thanks to its uncompressed memory system. Each card ships with a special protective carrying case, and supplies 2038 bocks for save data.

User Comments about the Gamecube 128MB 35x Memory Card

This memory card is way better than the factory-branded cards you get from Nintendo and at a better price.

the product was new and hasn't even been used yet,I bought it to have it.so if everytime I buy something and get bothered to review it I may stop using you to buy stuff

You have a better chance of getting a decent card. There's only been 12 reviews or so for this product. Wrong. Mine was dead straight out of the packaging.

I only bought this card so that I could play the Sims: Bustin Out. Here is what you need to know:First, I already own an 8mb memory card made by Nyko, and it has worked really well most of the time I've had it. My 'Cube didn't even recognize this card when it was plugged in. Okay, okay now you might be impressed by the fact that this product has gotten four & 1/2 stars right. That rating means nothing unless it's unanimous.

I took this to mean that Nyko makes good memory cards until I read another review that mentioned the same problems. There was only one occasion where it kept trying to tell me that the memory card was corrupted and needed to be formatted. Ooops. But after pulgging and unplugging the darn thing a couple of times, it finally worked again without anymore malfunctions. My advice would be to go ahead and pony up the extra dough and get a genuine Nintendo 1019 memory card.

Since the Wii is newer, I would guess that it's flash memory reader is newer and supports more memory devices.CONS: I have not experienced a single problem with either of the 2 cards that I bought. My Wii has no problem recognizing this card. PROS: Price, Storage, Nyko *is* a name brand. I imagine that Gamecubes being older hardware may have issues with some aftermarket cards. I decided the price was right that I might as well get them now.

HUGE memory card 2048 blocks. Since gamecubes are on the decline since the Wii came on the scene, I needed a big memory card to last and store all the saved games i neeeded, like madden NFL. Great card for the price.
