You'll want to keep your cables off of the floor.If you plan on using Linux, or a USB retro pad for emulators, then you won't regret this purchase. I've used a few different XBOX to USB converters, but this is the by far the nicest cable I've seen. A real keyboard is a MUST for operating in Linux, because it is primarily a command line interface. Most XBOX emulators are ported from the PC and retain limit ability to connect with USB devices. This cable however offers something none of the others I have come across have: a sizable length of extension.The plug is professionally made, and plugs in with needing to be forced, like some other converters. I prefer to use the hard plugs, but they are only offered by modchip manufacturers. The USB end is just a metal cage however, and is prone to being crushed. Couple this with a retro pad outfitted with a USB plug and you get easy classic gaming.If you have a modified XBOX, you need this.
