By my son Charlie, age 9: I think this game is awesome. Even though it is a one player game, it is easy to switch off and let others play. It is easy to play and my friends always want to play it when they come over. It is one of the few I always play. All of the weapons are great. This is one of my favorite games.
Would recommend and I don't really like video games like this. The game has great graphics. My brother loves it because it was a challenge and tested his mind. This game is an exception.
People say that this game doesn't have good graphics. This is one of the best shooter series I have played. The game is all about stealth, the AI is fine, the sound is only bad if you have a bad disk. I say, so what. I think in a war game, the gameplay matters more. It goes a different direction than all the others.
The graphics are better than the original Ghost Recon for PC. Previous reviews talk about how bad the graphics are for the PS2 edition. If you like FPS's and you liked the original Ghost Recon, then you're going to enjoy this game. I prefer using a mouse and keyboard interface for FPS's but I adapted quickly to this. To be plugged in Matrix and get graphics that are totally lifelike. What are you expecting. You whiners don't know how good you've got it. If you've come to this page looking for a Ghost Recon title for your PS2, then you will NOT be the least bit disappointed with this title.
the in game graphics look like something from the later years of the N64, the sound is tacky, and the physics are horrible. I've been playing Tom Clancy games since Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six. You shoot a dude, and he hits the ground like he's already stiff, (sometimes they even fall off of balconies and SIT IN THE AIR.). As far as the upsides, the missions are well planned, the gameplay is pretty solid, and the voice acting and prerenderd cutscenes are nice. if only this game were as good. The downsides. Totally stupid stuff.Overall, not horrible, but not good either.
