It is kind of awkward and sometimes falls off of my computer. It takes good video and has clear sound. I am happy with the quality of the web cam. The only thing that I am disappointed with is the computer mount. Otherwise it works great.
Although this is the first webcam I have ever used, I am very pleased with the performance and the quality of the picture and sound. One friend actually purchased one once he saw the quality of my video email. I have recommended this product to friends and family. I have seen others and have not been impressed with how grainy the picture is and how the sound and the action are not in sync. But the people I send video emails to all compliment the quality of the sound and the picture. This was a good purchase.
I have never used a webcam (8ig n00b). Sound (I'm told) is good and the mic is not so directional that someone walking room can't be heard if they speak up a bit, but seated in front of it I just use a regular speaking voice and everyone can hear me. The picture is clear. before, so I have no basis for comparison - my 5 stars is based on a month of use. I read the directions, installed the software, plugged it in, booted up, and it has worked perfectly since.I like the look of the thing - it's not blue as depicted in the photos; it's silver, and feels sturdy enough. There's no feedback at all, either - I expected some.There are units out there for $125, but I can't imagine what for - this thing is perfect for us.
