User Comments about the Icemat Siberia Headset (Black)

Great sound quality-poor durability, warranty purchase a must.

Although this headset markets itself as the headset for gamers, hardcore gamers should not mistaken this for something that is "a must" to own. The microphone could hardly pick up my voice when I clipped it to my shirt, my friends also spoke of some static in the background that sometimes overtook my voice. I would recommend this for those who require the use of microphones every once in awhile but also appreciate the quality of a headset. Considering that the microphone is completely detached from the headset, it's not the best commodity for someone who uses a headset for hours straight (having different wires extending everywhere). The microphone being detached will lead you to either clip it to your shirt or tape (using Icemat's own stuff that they've provided) to your comp monitor, desktop, etc. It's a decent headset, I would moreover define it as the "stylish" headset and not the gamer's headset.

Not only does this headset give you excellent sound quality and bass, but it is soo comfortable. I wear glasses sometimes and they dont press my ears against the frames like other headsets do.Pros- Sound great, comfy, perfect for gaming, and you can place mic almost wherever you want; the cord for the mic is seperate and longer than the headphone cord.Cons- Can be a bit pricy in stores, but Amazon comes through with great prices yet again. Best headset I have used so far. They go AROUND your ears, not on them. The velvet-like padding on the outside presses on the sides of your head, not your ears. I paid $60 and got free shipping :D

Compared to other headsets I've owned this one is definitely a winner. The only good place for me to mount it is on my monitor, and people say that I tend to pick up background noise. The microphone works good. They stay exactly where I want them to. Its a personal preference thing I guess.

People say its very clear, but I don't like having it clipped to my shirt. My old sony ones put my head in a vice. I find these headphones to be the most comfortable pair I've owned yet. They also don't bother my ears. For the price its a great buy. These fid snug, but not too snug. The sound quality is great and no background noise if I clip it to my shirt.

They don't slide around. I don't like how it isn't mounted to the headset like most are. The sound quality is good. I wear glasses, and extended wearing of some headsets could cause pain but these feel great all day long. The bass isn't quite as loud as I'd like, but at least it isn't distorted. I would give it 5 stars if it had an attached microphone and better bass.

Icemat headphone looks cute with hifi look but doesn't seem tobe impressive in the way it functions. Even for a medium volume, it spreads the sound out of the headphone and everyone in the room could listen to it. Not good for working with skype or yahoo.I spent around 50$ for this headphone but, there are good ones in 25$ range which works better than Icemat eventhough look and feel is not that much attractive as Icemat's.
