The first noticeable feature right out of the box is the included sleeve. This sleeve is not onlly allows you to store you Steepad S&S safely during traveling to prevent damages, there is also another zipper pouch for a mouse or games. The Steelpad S&S is made of plastic and has a very slight texture which is great for accuracy and little friction between the mouse and the pad yet be extremely accurate at the same time. On the other side of the S&S is a textured gel like material to hold the pad firmly in place. It requires a large amount of effort to get the pad to budge. So, there is no longer a need to worry about the mouse slipping with the pad whether gaming or during work.

The underside has sprayed on rubber for the backing which might not give it the best traction on your desk but I never really had a problem with it, and i have a glass desk. This pad gives the perfect balance between smoothness and accuracy. This is an almost perfect mouse pad. Perfect for gaming or any other task. I highly recommend this mouse pad.

This is the best mousing surface I have tried. I have bought two now, one for the office and one for home. I have been very satisfied with the quality of these great mose pads.
