The receiver is the best part. Most PS2 wireless controllers have HUGE receivers that stick out funny - this one is compact and looks sleek. This controller is a great wireless controller if your hands don't fit the regular wired PS2 controller. I purchased this controller for some range since I have a 42 inch LCD HDTV (I sit far away).
Battery life is average for a wireless, nothing special. Range would be tough to exceed. The area where the batteries go in (directly underneath between the control pad and shape buttons) is quite thick and made my middle finger and ring finger hurt. The buttons are a bit cheap, the joysticks are a joke (but I am a serious gamer) and the darn thing just did not fit my hand correctly.
The shape and overall feel is not that great. Overall, this controller is average.
Our 14 y.o. I sure hope the wireless will be compatible with all the other 2008 games. For some reason this controller goes all funky when she plays her new soccer game, so she has to switch over to the corded controller. daughter LOVES this wireless controller. It works great with all her PS2 games except the 2008 version of Soccer. If not the $28 we spent will have been a waste.
They give out this loud plastic-clanky sounds that gets pretty annoying if your not the one playing. I ordered 2 of these controllers and both work great. The only problem I have with these (and yes both do the same) is that the directional pad sounds cheap. Otherwise a good controller
I love it. Not like other wireless controllers that stall or switch over. This is amazing. This one works consistently and perfectly. I bought two.
yes it's dissapointing that no other controller can hold a candle to this one and I"ve tried several others before this one. This blows every other wireless out of the water with out a second thought.
