It does make sense to me because I am going to send this to my kids in the Philippines, and knowingly I am sure that this Aluminum protector case will somewhat protect the console. This product has a solid aluminum case outside to protect the PSP in case of a drop, and inside is a well faded foam that securely fit the console. Not a good looking, but the only purpose why I bought this item, is the protection I can get for the PSP. Actually I bought 2 PSP and 2 Aluminum protector case. So why go for the attractive case if it will not serve it's purpose.
It's tight fit with all this stuff in there, but it fits. It would take ALOT to even dent this case, let alone have your PSP inside be cracked or crushed. Like my title says, this is perfect if you're traveling or just on the go alot. If the outside Fort Knox casing wasn't enough, the inside is as well padded as it gets. It's like a miniature vault. There is room inside to store a PSP slim, a handful of UMD's, and an extra battery and cover. I'm so glad I bought this case.
