User Comments about the Xbox 360 Core Console System

As you may already know, these Xbox 360's suffer from what is known as the RROD or (Read Ring of Death) which is when you get three-flashing-red-lights which is an indicator of a severe hardware failure. Thank goodness Microsoft extended everyones warranty for free to 3 years, ONLY if you experience the 3rrod error. This console is by far the best you're gonna get this generation. Microsoft has come along way when you compare the Xbox 360 to it's brother the Xbox 1.

Lastly, the customer service @ Microsoft sucks, they don't care about your issue, the people you speak to are overseas and don't speak english clearly enough to communicate to you as to what the solution will be, and again THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKKKKKKSS. Other than that the 360 beats it's competitors by far. This is truly a system that can't be beat, you can enjoy all types of games such as Gears of War 1 and 2 come this November 2008, Mass Effect, Halo 3 (probably 4 in a year or two) and Netflix on your 360. Microsoft actually listended to what gamers wanted, and that's fun hardcore games, amazing online, and custimizable dashboards.

As always when there are goods things about something there are bad things too. Kudos to Microsoft for making a system that just can't be beat, but Microsoft work on your customer service a LOT more because in the end that goes along way as to where you stand with your reputation.

People, if you wanted memory alongside this, you shoulda read the description better. I purchased one way back in January and it still runs smooth as silk. They gave me instructions that were not only beneficial but very kind. I've seen some previous reviews and highly disagree with 'em. When I went to buy another as a gift for a friend, the first thing that happened was they asked me if it was because the last one I bought was busted already. These people look out for their customers unlike the rest of of the customer services I dealt with. I for one have never once made a regret of buying this.

I had all my cords and memory and whatnot from my previous and busted 360. As for me, these people have done nothing but watch my back. and in my opinion, it ran better. But for those who just rush shop and not pay attention, then, yeah, let the buyer beware.

We love the Xbox, only problem is once in a while it refuses to read our disks. Have to keep trying to load CD, eventually they are played, but sometimes takes a while, otherwise it's great.

I've had alot better luck with Microsoft than Sony. I still have my original Xbox in working condition. Pre ordered it 11/05 got & it a week after release. Purchased the hard drive when it released as well.

Can't say the same for PS2(went through 2 in 3 years). I'll definetely get a new 360 soon. It now blinks a beautiful shade of red. 3 plus years in a well ventilated area w/intercooler and it only just crapped out.

I still recommend the 360 as the better of the two systems. It's worth getting again.

I could only talk to an Indian guy (he was nice) and all he could tell me is I tampered with it and sorry.MIcrosoft's does not want to take a hit on all these crappily made consoles. I never opened it or did anything to it other then mail it. I can't believe it. I am in shock.

I called Xbox help and they sent a box. Took the game out and took off the harddrive. The Xbox360 was alot of fun until I got the red rings of death. I called Xbox and they told me it wasn't repaired because I tampered with it. They are cheats completely.

I received it "unrepaired" with a letter saying that I violated the Extended Warranty. I put the stupid thing in the box and dropped it off at UPS. I followed the instructions in the box. I got an email a couple of days later saying that it had been shipped back to me. The amount of money microsoft is making and they call me a liar instead of fixing it.
