As previous reviews said, the $20.00 off a game expired in in 2006 so I was expecting that.but the arcade game code is also expired and to top it off, the xbox live 12 month code expired as of 6/30/2007. Everything in this pack is expired by over a year. Beware. You are pretty much buying a headset and 200 points, THATS IT. The only good thing is the headset is the old style with the microphone switch near the controller.
Honestly, I don't care about using the webcam that came with this pack, but it's still the best deal I could find, besides some ones where I was put on indefinite 'back order' for a kit without a webcam.This is an easy and convenient pack that will give you a year of online play, a headset, a webcam, and some 'xbox live marketplace' points and a couple free (if cheesy) old arcade games.It ships free with the 'super saver shipping' and arrives fairly quickly. I got mine and am waiting until HALO 3 releases before I activate my account.
Worked fine but it would have been nice if the offer for $20 dollars of an xbox 360 game was current. the offer expired 6 - 7 months before I even bought the product.
The Gold kit is a must for X-BOX 360. Just don't be fooled by the $20 off on the box; it expired over a year ago. There may be a better deal elsewhere.
If you have an Xbox 360 and you already have Xbox Live, then you know how much of a necessity it is. Under $60 a year for this great service is awesome. Your games will become even better when you can take them online. Microsoft has put together an amazing online community. I've had no problems so far. It's very affordable and you won't be able to live without it.
