If these games have been around since I was a kid (that was a long time ago), I'm thinking they will continue to be around and used by my kids for quite a while. These are classics games - done well for the "older" gameboy advance system. I bought this for my daughter (she's 11), and my 14-year-old plays some of the games. This was one of the few worthwhile games that I know will last beyond the point of "beating the game".
I bought this game for my daughters since they love to play these games and because it's faster than playing the board games with all the little pieces. You can have up to four players on each game so we just pass the GameBoy around.
If I dont have much time, I play a quick 1 or 2 player game.PROS(yahtzee):- No loading times. I had never played YAHTZEE before until I picked this game up. After some weeks you will be playing at lightning speed, but watch out for placing a score in the wrong slot =))- Up to 3 human or computer opponents (4 players).- Easy to learn to play.- Perfect screen interface design, no clutter.- Nice legible font.- AI is solid, you will not win every single time.CONS(yahtzee):- No high score save (I record my highest score on paper, no biggie. Life quickly bored me since it has no strategy factor whatsoever and I never really understood Payday.Once I saw Yahtzee was like poker I was interested in learning the rules; I found out that its very easy to play and has a perfect balance of strategy/luck. I was looking forward to playing LIFE, and get to know the other two games. Im pretty sure yahtzee has helped my poker game :O.I play Yahtzee every day on my DS, in the bathroom, when Im taking a rest from the pc, when Im out of the house for any reason and when I go to bed(helps me sleep).Sometimes I control 4 humans and go for a high score(20-30 mins), sometimes I play vs 2 or 3 computer opponents and see if I can beat all of them. Its 503 btw ;))
How disappointing. I bought this game in order to play LIFE and Yahtzee. You could just sit and keep pressing the "A" button, and the game would play itself. Bottom line, I've spent a few evenings on the couch in front of the television with this in my hand, but it got very boring very quickly. I've never played Payday, but there is no instruction with these games, so I don't know how to play it. No mini games, no extra choices, nothing. Therefore, if you aren't already familiar with these games in their board game state, don't expect to learn how to play them here.
There's not. As for LIFE.UGH. Yahtzee is Yahtzee, and if you like to play it, here's a nice way to sit with your GAMEBOY ADVANCE and pass the time. It could have been so cute and fun IF there was any detail to it at all. I KNOW Nintendo is capable of better.
well this is the game i ordered and this wasnt the game i received in the mail instead they sent me chutes and ladders candyland and memory. it was for my moms birthday and she didnt want a game for such young children she wanted the payday life yahtzee. i will probably not shop here again
