User Comments about the Monster Hunter Freedom

You start off as a rookie hunter being taught the ways of the hunt by the village elder, he gives you a few quests right off the bat that are fairly mundane like gathering mushrooms and cooking meat which may seem boring to some, but to people new to the game it's a very necessary learning process that will help you get used to the controls.Once you fight your first monster it gets more and more intense as the difficulty and size of the monsters increases. 90% of Japan can't be wrong. The camera is amazing, you just have to know how to use it and when to use it. we've had worse, and they're no longer than they were on the PS2 version. Know when to use the D-pad to swing it around. Monster Hunter isn't for everyone, that's for certain.

The game is nothing BUT hardcore. if anything they're actually a little shorter.100/100if you like games buy it.

Capcom has made this game with a very specific audience in mind: Hardcore gamers. Come on.

Period. It's all about timeing and skill.and the load times.

in some areas the default setting for the camera will leave you at a disadvantage, so you have to learn to change it. At times it'll seem impossible to defeat them but when you strike that final blow and the adrenaline pumping through your body starts to calm down you get such a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that you can't help but think: "I wonder what's next" From Velociprey to Fatalis this game keeps you riveted from start to finish.and don't listen to the guys reviewing it that say the camera sucks.

know when to use the L button to center it. You owe it to yourself as a gamer at least to try.

I hope they make more of these they are truly amazing very capturing games. Let the hunt begin.

It arrived on time and was exactly as listed. This gift was for my son for Christmas. He loved the gift and I dont think it has left his side so far. Thank you.

Stats and mission requirements are fairly difficult to understand. Items are everywhere. Mission availability is very nice.4. Has a fairly decent selection of character parts to customize your character to your wants.2. Targeting system is nonexistent3.

Controls are kind of unintuitive.2. I had heard that it received bad reviews after purchasing it for a trip I was going on. but was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it actually was. Game play is fairly straight forward. I'm going to purchase part 2 now simply because this one was that much fun. I ended up playing it and found it difficult to put down. And harvesting kills is a cool feature.Cons:1.

Pros and Cons:Pros:1. Graphics are pretty unbelievable for the PSP.5. Weaponry customization and upgrading is surprisingly vast. Equip yourself with the proper equipment, select the mission then go kill everything you see. I had no idea so many weapons were going to be available.3. Lots of reading required in order to understand what it is you are supposed to do.All in all this game is very worthwhile.

This is a fun game with great graphics. The most important part is that this game isn't as hard as the other reviews say. You can choose your look, weapons, and armor. It's definitely the best T-rated game out there for the PSP. There's lots to do on your quests, and I like the personalization it has. This is a great buy.
