I will give it to Amazon, once I did similar postings on other orders the shipping was brought up to a more reasonable date.The reason for holding up service seems obvious, Amazon intentionally making the difference in delivery time larger between paid shipping and free for the purpose of trying to coerce it's customers into paying for shipping (which seems to have really increased these days) or to sign up for "Amazon Prime membership" and gouge customers annual membership fee of $79.
I have ordered 2 of these headsets from Amazon, and when I did it stated the following, which I saved.
With the other issues mentioned in my other reviews in Amazon service and sales ethics, it makes one wonder about doing business with such a company.Amazon likes to project itself as the Norstom's of internet sales, but clearly is taking advantage of that reputation and its customers trading on that pass reputation (see my other posts of switching vendors for similar product on the same URL, keeping reviews with no way of knowing what each reviews got to bought, 'Amazon roulette shopping').

The hold on this order isn't as bad as was given on some of the several other orders I have placed of late, but until Amazon stop this policy I will post this in the hope that customers e-mail complaints to Amazon and post likewise when they see this happening to them.
But I chose the "FREE Super Saver Shipping (5-9 business days)", and reviewing my order it tells me "Shipping estimate: November 4, 2008".
Order it in the next 14 hours and 23 minutes, and choose One-Day Shipping at checkout." Obviously from this one can assume that Amazon have them in stock and can get them out of the warehouse to someone by November 3.
Clearly this shipping date has nothing to do with the shipping time ((5-9 business days), but how fast Amazon process the orders and it seems clear to me that they are intentionally holding on orders who opt for "FREE Super Saver Shipping".
I am sure as prospects and customers realise what they are doing it will start to affect Amazon's bottom line, loosing business.

Lets start off with what I was looking for, in buying a headset.
without going into detail i broke first mic, and was so satisfied with first, i got another.Gamers, Late night movie lovers who have to be quiet, Music lovers, anyone get this mic you have my word that you will not be disappointed.5 Stars for Speakers, and 5 Stars for Mic.
I wanted amazing sound quality, bass and all, This exceeds my expectations.
aka me tripping over the wire while it was plugged in.
I am forgetting something :P, The mic ;).

Ive played many games since I got this product months and months ago, Ive used Teamspeak, Ventrilo, So on, nothing but crystal clear.I have a confession to make :P This is my 2nd pair, first one broke due to my stupidity.

I previously owned a logitec headphone and mic.What I find with this piece of electronics is 1)The cushioning for the ears is comfortable making it a more comfortable for listening.2)The mic is pretty sensitive and can even pick up sound of people who are talking at the far end of the room.Thanks a lot
This even after the proclamation "Optimized for gaming" is a letdown as gamers probably use this continuously more than me (I use this for listening to music)But definitely a good buy as long as you watch the no. I'll try and make this simple and to the point. This is excellent value for money and has great output and quality; but extended can cause your ears to hurt. of hours you use it
I got it 4 days after I ordered (it was supposed to come in 10) and the headset quality is amazing. The microphone works good for quality but the volume can be a little low (or it may just be because im listening to it throught the headset). For the price this is the best headset on Amazon. This headset is spectacular. Very light, nice pads, and comfortable grip on head. Pantronics did a wonderful job. (Sturdy build as well)My only complaint (this can be a curse or a blessing) is the length of the cord.
The audio is amazing and everything is clear. I have already set Microsoft Voice recongnition and it works flawlessly. Also, THE MOST COMFORTABLE HEADSET EVER. It is too long for me because my computer is right next to me but if your computer is farther away it may work better.Audio Quality- 5/5Microphone quality- 4/5Value 5/5Build- 5/5Comfort- 6/5 (yeah six out of five)
