This headset is very comfortable and good quality. I ordered an adapter to fix this issue, but unfortunately the adapter was cheap and did not work properly. It would be so much better to have it at the controller, by the thumb for quick access. The comfort lasts even after hours of playing. The only drawback is the in-line mute and volume control. Overall, though, it's something I'm willing to put up with because of how comfortable the headset is.
Since the headset that came with my 360 broke, I had to look for an alternative. I bought these, and I'm not disappointed, this headset is way more sturdy than that flimsy trash that comes with the 360. I've had no problems what so ever with it, I'm satisfied.
I've had it for about a month and it seems to work good. Every now and then I don't think it is working so I unplug and plug it back in to the controller and it seems to work again.
It is very comfortable, and i can hear sound loud and clear. I know people that didnt like the microsoft head set so i got this one. Great for the price. So far it works great. When i go on line others say they can hear me very well.
The headset is comfortable (I think the original xbox live headset used to hurt my ears after a couple hours but these do not) and works well. I thought I'd hate having the volume and mic on/off switch hanging down around my chest instead of right on the controller, but it's not a major issue during gameplay (I play shooters like COD4, Halo, GTA4, etc. online).
