I can not only go on wifi with my psp, when my friends come over with their laptops, they can go on wifi and my wii can also go on wifi for lagless play.
I went to bestbuy to buy a wireless router and one of the associates told me I have to be careful with wireless routers because other people can get to my router and download illegal files that might cause a lawsuit.
I have high speed broadband internet from Cox and I seldom experience lag when I am playing a game online.
So I did a little research and got this because I can plug in and out whenever I want some wifi.
So if you have a problem installing it when your unicode isn't Enlgish, try to change the unicode to English before installing it.
The CD does it for you.
Installing could not be any easier because you don't have to do any difficult work.
However, I had a little problem installing it first because my unicode wasn't set to English.
I recommend this over nintendo wifi usb connector because nintendo wifi usb connector only lets you go on wifi with ds or wii.
The package arrived in spankin' new condition. This is a great product. After my rocky start with installation (due to the fact that I'm new to wireless devices) things were smooth sailing. If you've used wireless devices often before, this product will be a simple plug and play for you.
The other hospital has a more secure firewall which won't let me out. I spend part of my days in the basement of two different hospitals and I cannot receive cell phone service. I don't believe this is a criticism of the product, however. This key works flawlessly in one location. I bought a T-mobile blackberry with wifi. I am driving everyone crazy because I won't let on how I managed to phone went they can't. Highly recommended for "off-label" use.
I had to pass after its Pathetic performence. Yes you heard me. buy a Linksys Router takes 2 minutes to set up and works brilliant with the PSP. harmful possibly fatal. this Product CONATINS LEAD. it even states in the handbook wash hands AFTER TOUCHING THE PLASTIC UNIT. avoid this Hunk of Lead Poisoning waiting to happen.
This is a great buy for people without dsl/cable wireless router. But either way it is good.You can add a WEP key code to block outside intruders from using your connection.The only real cons to this product is in order for your psp to pick up the signal the host computer must be turned on. Other wireless gadgets can also pick up the signal(i.e laptops pdas PS3), I mainly used it for my laptop though and only for my psp to play online games. It does exactly what you think it does, it turns your computer into a wireless router. The stup is a breeze and I installed it in less than 10 minutes. The range isn't what I expected(about 45 feet total; about 20 for good connection) but if you have good signal strenght it goes pretty fast depending on you dsl/cable speed.Overall, this is an excellent buy.
