User Comments about the My Little Pony: The Runaway Rainbow

My 7 year-old daughter played the game immediately into her micro gameboy and soon after she finished the game. She had no problem playing the game and not asked me once to help her. Otherwise the graphic and fun was a A++++.

Now she's 6, she can do all the reading herself. My 4 year old recently tried this game and was able to play the mini games with no problem. Be aware that the main game requires a lot of reading, which I did not expect, but what I did with my 5 year old was sit next to her and let her "drive" and I would read the text to her. Good 1st game.

;) Anyways, I would not have purchased this based on my review of it, but my daughters love it. (But then again, it's not for adults). I finished the entire game in 1 hour. I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter who insisted she wanted it.

I played it to try it for myself and I was very disappointed. There is an arrow that basically takes you right to each item so it is not very challenging. She had played it before on her cousins gameboy and said she loved it. I do have a feeling that my 8 year old is going to get bored with it though. A really, really, fun game to play is the Disney Princesses.

This game seems very tailored to young kids, like maybe 4-6 but then the reading makes it difficult.(Confusing).Anyways, my two daughters, ages 6 and 8 seem to love it so I guess that's all that matters. There are only 5 levels to complete and then you have to start all over again. The game consists of a lot of reading and the pony is given instructions on items to find. There are a few mini games which are fun, but they are very simple to play. It's fun for them and I love playing it too.

I was appalled at how little thought went into this game. This is not top secret material here. She got to the end and said, "That's it." Also, why does a game for little kids need a long & complicated password to get to the next level. Play is so simplistic that it is barely a game at all. My 6-year-old daughter instantly found it boring, and went through the entire game in 1 1/2 hours. A simple word that could be remembered would be fine.Just because it's for small children does not mean it can't be somewhat challenging.

to get to the next level. My 9 yr old daughter wanted this game, so i bought it. It's too easy for her but she likes playing it.Other games she has are: pacman (loves it).sonic-sega version (loves it).dogz (cute game/VERY cartoony - but she loves it. I like it too). It's my little pony, so it's cute. i played it first to see if it's something that itsn't too easy. You basically play games, & you go around completing tasks ect. tetris (likes it)ant bully (she says it's ok) strawberry shortcake (says it's a bit hard) the sims2 pets (i like, but she doesn't get what she's supposed to do)
