Editorial Reviews:

In Madden NFL 07, you'll control the running game like never before. For the first time ever, step up as the lead blocker to create a hole, then take control of the tailback and smash through, overpower, or slash away from would-be tacklers as you fight for every yard. Innovative rushing controls give you a game-breaking ground attack featuring all-new jukes, cutbacks, and the distinct running styles of your favorite backs. Between the tackles or in the open field, run to daylight with Madden NFL 07.

User Comments about the Madden NFL 07

Son loves it. Can play for hours. Need to upgrade to 08 on DS next.

That's my only complaint. It's very easy to play and fun. Madden 07 is a very fun video game for the GBA. But the only thing I wished it had was a career option, I know the memory size of the cartridge makes that unlikely, but it would have made this game perfect. I highly recommend this game for it's sheer fun.

The game does not become bothersome with over used commentary by John Madden and Al Michaels, but it has just enough to make it cool. You know when I first bought Madden 2007 for my Gameboy Advanced SP I was a little worried. Also, the cost is right at $20 on (.). for the same price. I thought that maybe the players were too small to see very clearly, perhaps the game play could lack considering that I am used to playing Madden 2007 on the GameCube or that some of the details that I had grown used to using on the GameCube would not be as good on the small machine. In addition, the controls are set up just like any other Madden game that you would have ever played which makes it very easy to adopt and play quickly, right out of the box. But I have to say after playing it a couple of weeks now it is pretty amazing the portable power that programmers can put into those tiny Gameboy Advance SP cartridges.

I have to say that I was really surprised, the game play is very fluid, the picture is clear to play once you get over the smaller scree. What makes it great also is that with the Gameboy Advance SP there is no need to buy additional memory cards to save seasons as on other portable systems. Overall, the game is really in enjoyable, and for a person that doesn't spent a lot of time at home, it's a blast. The game includes all of the names of the players, the teams and every little detail that you would enjoy in the full console version. So far I have really enjoyed my purchase of Madden 2007 for the Gameboy Advance SP and this is coming from a 28 year old, male, grad student that likes to take a break every so often in the library from studying to play a video game.

I bought this game as a birthday gift for my son -- so he gave me the input. He LOVES football and enjoyed the game.
