I honestly keep the stylus non extended for the majority of my use- Because this is what I'm used to.I also keep it shortened because it gets awfully wobbly in the fully extended position- But it hasn't failed me yet, and is just as good as the stock DS styluses. At first I hated the tiny stylus that came with the console- but I grew to use it like an appendage of my own.Of course, I lost my only stylus for the DS Lite- I just wanted another "normal" one. When I was in high school, the new technology was introduced- The Nintendo DS (Now called Classic- I feel old). It was tough to find, so I settled for this. 4 stars only because I really don't need extenso-matic styluses.
i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. these stylus' kept sliding out of the slot on my DS lite. i lost one the first day i had them, because of this problem. the idea of it being retractable is cool, but i'd recommend just spending the extra dollar or 2 and buying replacement stylus' directly from nintendo.
If you are careful and they'll be great. Unfortunality, they both cracked within a month. I really liked this stylus. And as someone else mentioned, they are a little wobbly if fully extended. I still gave it 3 stars because it is a great idea, just too fragile.
Works well, as it is much more comfortable than the standard stylus. Unfortunately they do break rather easily, only had ours a month before they both broke. Maybe if you stuck to gentle games like Sudoku and kept away from action games like Ninja Gaiden then they would last longer.
Much easier to use than the regular stylus. I like the length but that it also fits in the stylus holder in the game.
