This is a great starter kit that is farely inexpensive. Sometimes its hard to open and I wish that it held more games, but thats why they call it a "starter" kit. So is the case for the games. You have alot of things that come with it that I was surprised to see. The carrying case is very handy and protects the gameboy very well. Anyhow, not a bad investment if you want something to help you out and not burn a hole in your pocket.
The case is PERFECT. It even has an embossed D-pad and A & B buttons on the outside,.which serves no practical purpose whatsover,.but looks really cool.The car charger is another great plus, especially if you're one who doesn't keep your unit charged often. I highly recommend this kit for several reasons. The case became my daily carrier for the Micro,.as you will definitely not want to keep the tiny Micro in your pocket without protection (screen scratches).
Lastly, the rubber grip doesn't look as cheesey as you may fear, and it makes the unit infinitely easier to hold onto while playing,.although the A & B buttons become a bit harder to press (easy to adjust to however). The Micro with the rubber grip installed still fits securely into the case with no problem. And don't believe the other review about it being "hard to zip". Plus, the case has a mesh pocket inside for a second GBA game cartridge.
Not true at all. I haven't used the headphones,.and I don't care for the game cartridge case.
I know Nintendo Micros are out-dated, and accessories for them are hard to come by, but this set is not worth the money. The plastic cover for the micro attracts dirt and isn't tactile friendly. The earphones are extremely uncomfortable, and the carrying case, although sturdy, is a pain to zip and unzip. The only thing worthwhile is the car charger, and I'm hoping it holds up because it looks cheesy. The game holder fell apart just trying to open it. Spend a little more and get a better product.
This item is very resistible and it is very good for such a little price. This product is really helpful if you have a game boy micro. I bought this for my son because I knew he would scratch his little game really fast, with the gel skin the system still looks like new also the screen was very well protected by the screen protectors. This accessories are not for game boy advance sp as the other person who wrote a bad review bought this item and decided to put a low score just because of his mistake.
There is NO WAY that this fits. I recently bought a Game Boy Advanced SP. The plug for the ear buds is the wrong type of connector, to say nothing about the size and shape of the protective cover and holder case for games, are the wrong sizes completely. I saw this kit listed with the SP so, foolish me, I just "assumed" that it was meant for the GBA SP. I've never owned one before, so I'm definitely the "new kid on the block". Well, after I received it and opened up the kit packaging, I found that it IS NOT for the SP. This may fit other GBA, but it DOES NOT work with the SP.
