Pros: -Back light with 3 brightness levels (off, low, high) -Macro buttons are a nice feature, simplifies several button presses to one-Can turn the volume down with a dial on the center of the keyboard-key strokes are quietCons:-Back light is uneven, some spots are brighter or darker than others-It's HUGE, very wide, there isn't enough space in my keyboard tray for the keyboard and mouse pad any longer
Its extremely comfortable for long sessions on the computer and doesn't make my wrist or fingers uncomfortable. the extra buttons make it an awesome choice for playing games and the media options at the top are handy. I am a light gamer and really enjoy this keyboard. You also can't beat 2 extra USB ports on the top. I really can't think of a flaw in the keyboard yet.
Couldn't live with out this keyboard. You can really save a lot of time especially in AutoCAD and Illustrator. I don't game but I'm on the computer all day working with ether AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Quicken, Excel just to name a few of the programs that I will write little Macros for. It's super fast to right new ones or change ones that you have already written. Sonjco
I have been gaming with this for a while now.and the extra Gkeys are well worth it.I had a Logitech elite before until it got drunk to death.Aye ale and a keyboard do not mix.there was no saving it.So when I went to get another I saw this, and I absolutely love the blue back lighting, to the keys, can play without a light, and the extra Gkeys a must for gaming.the ease of use, for anything, not just gaming. All in all its a definite 5, if this one went I'd replace it with another one.Why pay more for the little screen, who actually uses that when their playing on-line.This one in my opinion is the better of the two.for the price even better.I recommend this to anyone, and especially for gamers.
I previously owned a G15 (this keyboard plus a foldout LCD screen) which broke. The lighted keys are nice since I usually have the lights down/off so I can see the projector. I enjoy having the extra keys and macro ability, although I don't use it that often. I got the G11 as a replacement as I really didn't use the LCD panel and, hopefully, the G11 would hold up better. So far so good. Overall great keyboard.
