So far this works with all 3 Guitar Hero games (I II III). This guitar is works great and arrived in mint brand new condition. This guitar is better than the one that came with the Guitar Hero games. We don't have the Aerosmith game yet but I'm sure it will be fine.
My wife prefers this controller to the one packaged with the GHIII game. It seems to strum just a little bit quicker. It's worked great and I'd have no problem recommending it to a friend
They did email once but did not tell me what their return policy is. I have emailed this company twice to find out how to send back the product due to not needing it. They are yet to respond to it. Very bad business in my opinion.
I have been using this guitar on Rock Band, and it works very well except for one problem. After plugging this guitar in, rock band started to randomly lock up during loading screens. This never happened until after I started using this guitar.
This wireless guitar works on every Guitar Hero game I have for the Playstation 2, which includes: GH1, GH2, GH3, and GH Encore 80s.
Comparing this to the wireless guitar I have for the Wii (included in the GH3 bundle).
Further more, it even works for Rock Band.
I am really impressed by the quality.
The package includes 3 AAA batteries that provides great battery life to keep me rocking out for hours.
The buttons feel great and they are very responsive.
Although this guitar is slightly smaller but the benifit of that is a much lighter guitar.
The guitar looks awesome and having the freedom with wireless is the way to go.
I am very pleased with this purchase and I even decided to purchase a second one.
