I bought this for my daughter who was pleasantly surprised when she opened this on Christmas Day. The dance mats are larger than the basic ones and of much better quality.
This mat only lasted one month. We already owned a mat that came with the DDR game and that one is still going. This mat went through the same abuse as our original but as of now doesn't work anymore :O(
DDR is an awesome game. I have another dance pad with foam padding inside that I prefer. This pad is more likely to curl up in the corner and bunch up when your dancing. If you can pick out the beat in a tune and have a little bit of body-eye coordination, this game is for you. The pads very in quality. I understand that there are quite fancy pads too made of different materials.
