User Comments about the Dance dance revolution DDR Ultramix Non Slip Xbox dance pad

Hello,I brought this product for second time, It's really good and durable, Lot of fun me and my family dancing.

The only downside is that the dance pad sensors are not of the highest quality. This game is really fun with a group of friends or on your own. It is challenging and can be a real workout. However, I love this product and would recomend it to anyone.

The only negative comment I have about them is that the cables on them (the ones that connect to the XBox) could be a little longer and a little more padding would be nice. These dance pads were a great buy. They came at a very low cost so I was a little afraid of the quality of them, but they are great quality dance pads. If you have hard wood floors like me, your feet tend to get a little sore after stomping on the pads to the DDR game.Overall, they are great quality and function perfectly.

The difference in quality between the Konami pad that came with the game and the pad on this page is definitely worth a few bucks. The pad works, but just barely well enough for me not to ship it back. One more thing: The "non-slip" on carpet is a joke. If you play on anything over the Basic level you will be dancing half-way across the room before the song is over. I bought this mat just to have a second one for parties and such, but now I feel almost guilty having other people use it after trying it out myself. About 90% of the time the buttons register, which makes sustaining a combo throughout a song almost impossible. I keep thinking that maybe I'm just not stepping in exactly the right spot.If you're looking for a decent second pad, spend a few bucks more and try out the Konami Wireless Pad for about $20 (when I bought this pad it was around $10). except that the cord that comes with the mat is too short to allow that, and it has no handy "break-away" connector.

I know that a week of use isn't much time to give a good review on this product but as of now they work flawlessly. (The 1 complaint I have isn't w/ this product but w/ the DDR games. This pad is GREAT. I have had this pad about a week now and have had a fun time playing DDR.

All of the DDR games for xbox are rather challenging. Even playing on easy most of the levels are challenging to me. All of the buttons work great. The Non-slip bottoms works great on tile and wood floors, but on carpet they slip a little but not nearly as much as the pads that aren't non-slip.

None of the buttons have shown any sign of lag or damage. I am not the most foot cordinated person but I still think that they could have made the games easier.(I'll write again later after more time spent w/ this item).
