Listen. These skins are cheap. You get what you pay for. The original skin that came with the Wii controller is soooo much better.
I bought these protector Sleeves for my Wii remote controls hoping to find a cover and avoid deteriorating my control, and they certainly do that. However, nunchuck protection can be always on place and it gives you "personalized nunchuck" for everyone in the family if you use different colors. So, definitely, I decided not to use them, because what I get for good, I think deserves less work. The problem is that silicon protector is hard to get in place, and also hard to take out, so when you need to change batteries and that would be as frequent as you use for long time your Wii, you have to take out protection and then place it back again. Also, this protectors are not compatible with any control extension like tennis racket, fire gun, zapper pistol, or baseball bat, so, if you want to use these funny toys, you have to take out again protector and when finish, place it back. I bought blue, pink, green and black.
I frequently order things from Amazon.com and am usually impressed with how quickly my items arrive, but not this time. However, the shipping took a ridiculous amount of time and I did not have it in time for Christmas which is when I needed it. The item arrived in the condition I expected as described by the seller. I ordered the item on December 13th and it did not arrive until two days after Christmas. Needless to say, I am not pleased with the amount of time it took my order to be delivered.
Prior to getting the various colored silicon skins for the Wii remote, I didn't even know how much it would make a difference. I'm so glad I purchased them. I find that it has helped my grip tremendously (which has made my Tiger Woods golf playing MUCH more enjoyable).
Of the little time I had with the sleeve looking (semi)decent, the D-pad was stiff and near unusable, and the home, + and - buttons were completely inaccessible without use of major force.

Feels nice, looks nice if you can get it on without trouble, but not worth the time, effort or money.
The actual item looks near-identical to the supplied picture, but clarification of brands is needed on the item listing.I actually got this as a gift for Christmas.
Because of this I'm ashamed to use it in public, and I feel too guilty to throw away a gift that didn't even last one hour.
This became even larger upon removing it to replace the batteries, and I'm now the owner of a cheap, junky cover that looks horrible.
While it looks quite attractive once on and feels nice to touch, it is so difficult to put on the remote that it actually suffered a small tear.
I take care of my consoles and equipment, but the torn sleeve makes it look like I don't care about my remotes.
Avoid.
