You want to buy a case to protect your game system and not to put at risk. Case is so small that it requires effort and maneuvering from adults to close the case once DS Lite is inside the case forget about young kids. I cannot say anything about Stylus or Screen Protector because i never used them after I was so disappointed with carrying case. I am sure if I had allowed my 6 year child to use this case then he would have dropped his game before he would have closed the case. Don't know how much would be hit on margin if the company would have made this case only 1/2 inch bigger than what it is right now.
The first sentence is what I wrote in my return claim, this is horrible, flimsy and the worst quality one could ever expect to receive in an item. Screen protectors don't stick, games case bulky and uncomfortable. Worst buy ever. The only thing that works is the stylus and honestly you can get that anywhere.Beware: DO NOT BUY.
After attempting to apply these and being frustrated at how the edges wouldn't stay down and how it bubbled, I took another look at the "card" they had been on, and realized it was plastic with a backing, sticky just around the edges. In the future I will do similar shopping in stores where I can see the actual product that I'm purchasing. My DS Lite is pink, so I wanted matching accessories, however the picture of this product is quite misleading. The screen protectors are the biggest disappointment. The "deluxe" stylus is practically identical to the ones that come with the system, except that the barrel is made out of metal, which makes the stylus a bit heavier. The best thing about these screens is that they were easy to remove, and left no residue. The screen protectors that come in this package are made of a hard plastic, and had an easy to peel off piece of protective plastic covering them.
In reality, the case is much darker, and is a fine pattern of mostly red and silvery grey. Worse though, was that the touch screen did not work through the protective screen unless I pressed quite hard. I should have shopped around more, but this item seemed to be the simplest and most cost effective answer to my needs: a case and screen protectors, with the added bonus of an additional stylus. It is an attractive case, but it is not what was pictured. First off, there were no instructions included. In the picture, the case appears to be solid, bright pink. These were actually easy to apply, however, if you put one on each screen, the DS Lite does not close all the way. This aside, the case seems to be quite sturdy, and I feel comfortable putting it in my purse or backpack.
At first I thought these were the screen protectors, using static cling to attach them to the system as opposed to an adhesive. Wanting to protect the first gaming system I have ever purchased, screen protectors seemed like a good idea, especially on the touch screen. Plus, the DS Lite fits in very snugly, almost too snugly, making the zippers a bit hard to get around the corners. Perhaps this is no problem for the seasoned gamer, but for a "newbie" like me, I was hoping for some guidance, especially since I was altering my new expensive toy. I had been hoping for something more like the "stylus extender" that is included in the "Travel Kit." The lack of product description and the product photo, with the items not to scale, is slightly misleading.
Case is well made and protects the DS, but there is no room for extra games or a set of earbuds
I really had no need for the stylus, and never did get the screen protectors on. The case is nice enough and will do the job. It's not a true pink, more of a red with a thin lined design on it. But the case will work for carrying the DS and a 3 game plastic case.
