The headset's a little hard to adjust perfectly, and the earloop can be too big, but it's a bargain at 15$. You pretty much need this if you're going to either play any voice-recognition games on the DS, or if you're going to chat it up on Diamond and Pearl. However.You get what you pay for. Still, I wish there were more options on the market.
We both found it secure in the console and easy to use. I got it for her birthday and when she plays the brain age game she told me she loves it. I originaly got it for myself but my mom saw it and wanted one. She said it made it so much easier to play the game. Don't be mislead by the fact that it doesn't come all the way to the mouth it picks up sound great.
Having them use headsets is more enjoyable for those around them. Nintendo DS Headset was purchased for my grandchildren for Christmas. They love playing Nintendo DS.
One question: Why does Amazon ask "How much fun is this game." when reviewing this headset. You can flip it so it fits on either ear.which means it doesn't fit either one all that great. The quality seems good, but they aren't that comfortable. It isn't a game, and it isn't meant to be fun.Anyway, I bought two of these (one for my brother). They work and they're cheap, so I was happy. It still stays on fine, but it's hard to get used to in a world filled with comfortable ear buds and bluetooth headsets.
The microphone is moveable so the user will be able to use it on either ear. I bought the headset to use with my DS while playing the game My French Coach. The headset is a touch large for my ear, but it does work very well. A good buy for any person who has a game that this device can be used.
