It does what it's supposed to do without diminishing the overall quality I would get without it.Doesn't improve anything visually that I can notice, just gives me a cheap component cable for the Wii.I wouldn't bother with it if you don't actually need the component cable for your home system.
This product works well and is inexpensive. I didn't have a problem with the original 480i connection and honestly don't see a big difference, but I didn't spend time making a direct comparison. I bought a new TV and needed this type of setup.
I like the cable it works the only reason i gave it 4 starts was because i cant peel back the audio jacks to plug them in to surround sound when using a projector
