Cant wait for the sequel. Its scope is truly ambitious and the voice-overs perfect, and the storyline original. Ive read thousands of Marvel Comics (seriously) and I will say this is the best and most comprehensive Marvel game out there. The ability to choose costumes ranging from different eras is a total plus. So until Reed Richards stops using invisible condoms, make mine marvel.
This game is fairly short and moderately challenging, but the co-op mode is terrific and could provide hours of family fun. I guess the graphics could have been better, but whatever. I still recommend it.Enjoy.
It's loads of fun. This game is like any other RPG, except the fact that your favorite Marvel superheroes are the characters. So the Marvel Universe is nicely portrayed and the classic powers each hero (up to 20 to choose from) possesses is in full display. If you enjoy classic RPG games like Elder Scrolls and Final Fantasy AND you love Marvel comic book heroes, then you will absolutely enjoy this game.
Thankfully I bought this for $10 in the bargain bin. Ive played all of the X-Men Legend games and loved those. I really dont see what everyone else sees in this game. I really wanted to like this game because im a big Marvel fan. But for some reason I cannot get into this one. Not enough fighting for my liking. Ive tried playing it about 5 times and get about 20 mins.
I read all the reviews before I bought it and was really pumped up about it and was sadly disapointed. That and I had a buddy that bought this for PS3 and I even tried playing it with him and we played for about 30 mins. into it and get so bored I have to turn it off. and he said the same thing. Not worth the time.
My husband and I play with game with the help of our 4-year-old. The game provides hints and direction along with way, but not too much to make the game too easy. It can also be difficult to keep track of where your character is when you have more than one player playing. We love being able to change the charaters and checking out their special moves. Sometimes the perspective makes it hard to see what was going on. Overall a very enjoyable game.
