User Comments about the Xbox 360 Wireless Halo 3 Headset

This is an amazing headset that works just as well as the regular one. It is also a special edition and matches my special edition Halo 3 Xbox.Buy this now if it is still available, they discontinued the production of this product. It is a must have for any true Halo fan.

In Halo 3, you almost have to shout to get it to make the voice icon recognize that you area talking.

I bought an open box Halo 3 Wireless Headset but it didn't work so I sent it to Microsoft.

Other than that and some minor static, it's a great headset.

I had a brand new one in my hands in 3 days.

I did have some trouble with it not recognizing my voice until I started yelling.

It charges quick enough, and it fits on the ear pretty well.

I have to say I'm pleased with it.

It is difficult, as I have gigantic ears, but it fits well enough so that it doesn't hurt.

Would gladly get it again.

It IS possible to make these things last for more than a few months.

I bought this on February 1st.

I just hope I can find some warranty information.

It worked PERFECTLY until today, May 1st.

Consumers should not put up with short-lived electronics.

Probably.

Exactly three months of responsible use and the battery stops taking a charge.COINCIDENCE.

But it still makes me very angry.

Cost me $60.

No dice. There was no damage to it, it hasn't been dropped, or gotten wet, or anything. At least when they die, they're cheaper to replace. So I plugged it into my PC to see if it was a bad USB port. I loved this headset.

Up until it died, one month or so out of warranty. It worked fine two nights ago, and tonight, nothing. It had great sound quality, it was comfortable, and it had a good battery life. No lights to indicate it was charging.

I tried my cellphone charger, nothing. Nothing. No power. It was just sitting on a table.

I plugged it in to the USB charger that came with it. So here I am, with a completely dead, four month old, $60 headset.I think I'll go back to a wired one.

The earpiece can be a little painful if you don't put it on right, but other than that it's a good piece of hardware. Not bad. THe battery lasts quite a while longer than I expected. Also, no longer available in most stores so the only way to find it is online.
