User Comments about the FC Twin System plays NES and Super Nintendo games (Silver/Black)

the super nintendo side is only good for this system the other side sucks because of the link

Third party products like these are notorious for being unreliable and of poor quality, and this system is no exception. The SNES portion doesn't work. A few didn't work at all.4. Sort of. It's a huge disappointment, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This is completely unacceptable.I'll keep it short and sweet. Sign me up."When I got it, reality sank in.1. Here I was thinking, "Wow, a system that can play BOTH NES and SNES games. Not a deal-breaker, but annoying nonetheless.2. Save up and buy the actual Nintendo systems. The NES cartridges tend to get stuck in the system, requiring a considerable amount of force to remove them. It wouldn't play a single game.

Of the NES games I tried out on it, most worked. This is, by far, the unforgiveable sin. Had considerable trouble ducking in Super Mario Bros. The controller wires are way too short.3. 3, but other than that, most of the games seemed to work okay. Avoid.

when i was young i used to play all these mario and other nes/snes games and now. but so far so good. i thought it will break right away because it's made in china and my kids will sometimes leave it on all night long while they sleep. my kids are playing them thanks to the fc twin system. so far no problem. it works fine.

It does that easily with a flip of a switch, so it functions as described. This causes it to be super sensitive to any kind of movement during play. Also, the body materials seem to be pretty cheap and lightweight, but I didn't expect a whole lot based on the price. Obviously I bought this system because it plays both NES and SNES games. But since the control plugs are fit for any SNES product, that's easily fixed. On the other hand, since the plugs are fit for SNES and not NES, classic games like Duck Hunt are apparently not playable on this system. Like I said, I bought it so I could play both my NES and SNES games on one system, and it does that just fine. My brother recently came to visit, and we had a blast playing all the games we used to play together as kids.Overall, this is a great buy for the price.

If you move the system slightly, whether on purpose or on accident (as was the case for me), the game freezes up and you get a blank screen. One downside is that the NES slot is actually a little too wide for the games, so it fits incredibly loosely. Since the remote control cords are pretty short, it's pretty easy to accidentally move the system just by sitting too far back from the screen. It's a great idea and so much fun.

plays games from both snes and nes at virtually the same experience as the original systems. the nes side the sound can be a bit off, but if leave the red or white audio cord unplugged seems to play about the same as the original systemBeing a new system most of the games will play without having to blow in them, which is something that my nes was starting to have problems with, it could take minutes of resetting/blowing in games before would work.the controllers are solid, but a bit short and not quite as good as the original snes ones. if the system was able to play castlevania 3 it would have been 5 stars, but other then that game havnt had compatibility issues, and the other games that have been reported not to work with it are pretty bad.
