foes spawn, run to and die at the same spot over and over again until the player advances to a certain point. The PS3 graphics are outstanding overall, altough they sometimes appear pixellated, suggesting a mediocre upscale to 1080P from a notably lower resolution. I made the mistake of buying COD4 for my PS3 after having played through the PC version (on the same HDTV set). The game itself is intensely fun and engaging, although it suffers from some rigid scripting (i.e. I once found 14 M4 rifles dropped in exactly the same spot and position for this reason) which makes some situations repetitive if the player dies and replays a portion of the game.A good buy if you don't have a late-generation PC (that version being so much better)
