My 13 year old had to be told to turn it off every day, but at least he was developing an ear for music as well as his hand to eye coordination. The Guitar Hero game series may be the best thing to ever happen to video games. Finally, a game driven by musical interest that teenagers love to play. It is very refreshing to find a game teenagers love that doesn't include guns, cars, and violence.
Beieve me, when the song is done, the players are sweating. It takes so much more hand/eye coordnation than the average video game. Like the music selections better, and like the frst and second issues, his shouldn't fall under the category of Video "game". Watching the competitions is almost as much fun as being at a live concert. So this is a great video game that gets the kids up off the couch and moving, even if they don't know it.
Games, fun. nothing really different from GH2 just different songs and a couple extra bells and whistles. still it was a good buy.
All in all, at some points the game seems too hard and the play list is kind of hit or miss. Basically, GH3 is for hardcore rhythm game fans. I like the story in GH3. I wont spoil it but you basically go from rags to riches to infamy. Many knock the game for the things it doesn't share with RB(full set of instruments, less dowloadable content) I will celebrate the differences. The final 3 songs are probably the hardest time ive had with the genre( even on normal) and the Dragonforce song that plays during the credits is unbelievable. You wouldn't want 2 of the same game out there.
You won't make that mistake in GH3. In RB you basically play songs in different locations until you see the end credits. GH3 is much more difficult than RB and offers more guitar centric tracks(for obvious reasons) Suprisingly, GH3 out trumps RB in forms of difficulty progression and actually telling a story. I didn't even realize the last song of the game was the final song because it was just as difficult as the rest of the songs. All in all GH3 is worth a buy if you find RB too easy.
guitar hero 3 has all the classic songs on it and has awesome grafics and has the real voices of the people who wrote it.
