The previous control is way better than this one. PSP 2000 Console - Piano Black The only reason to buy this is because of the remote control which i believe is essential for the psp to be a portable music/video player. Should've came with the system since they've been marketing the psp as a portable gaming console and music/movie player. Why does an ipod do a better job when it is so much smaller. Headphones are suppose to allow you to hear the music and sounds better than if you weren't wearing them and with the psp in a normal noisy environment for me, i can barely hear it. The control itself is lighter but less solid than the previous one, it feels worst in terms of the material and the buttons feel like they're going to fall off after some use, it also lacks a clip. To me they should price it at $9.99
the only problem i have with this item is that it wasn't packaged with my psp. i'm with the person who said shame on sony for making you shell out another $20-30 for headphones, but that said the remote works perfectly with the headset (which is a little bulky but i'll deal) and the earphones are very comfortable
I should say I like this one, I always use it to play games and wathc movies. If you have you a sony psp, why miss this sony earphone. Better than some other earphones. Just recommend,not very strongly.
I would not recommend you owning a pair unless you get them from a friend free. I bought these headphones thinking that it would enhance the sound from your PSP, but sadly it does not. the quality of the headphone are cheap, and plain out a waste of money. Another thing, they should be free, with the purchase of the PSP ($160).
PSP 2000 headphones work well. Good sound. Make sure you buys these if you have the PSP 2000 or slim.
