Price could be a bit cheaper for this Standard load battery, but it works as described and I'd rather have a Sony brand then some knock-off that dies in a month.
I've bought a Jap version battery, it doesn't fit that well however it hasn't been burning my psp either. It was cheap so. Well overall, this battery is great whether it is a jap or us version as long as it's authentic.
It matches in color, but does break up the lines. Charged up and in fact did double my play time. I have this for my PSP Slim, and it works great. The only downside is the cover. Not a bad concession for the extra play time.
This is a great battery, necessary for longer road trips or plane rides, when I can't charge my PSP every few hours.I prefer this one to the extended battery with the extra cover, because this one actually fits in the PSP so you don't get an akward buldge.
