This is a great low price for an Xbox360. Given the drives cost, you're better off to buy the next level package and get the hard drive with it. So you will need at least the add on hard drive. If you are planning on running older regular Xbox games on it, they will need updates. Most are available through Xbox Live, but you need a hard drive to store the updates on. Wish I would have known that first.

We love our XBox. And it was a great experience purcahsing online from Amazon.

Silver lining, I now have two spare hard drives, 7 game controllers, three headsets, making it a great console for parties. Some people just never learn. This is my third Xbox 360 so far, and RROD has struck on me three times. The games are super fun, and the graphics are awesome, so I hope Microsoft has been able to solve the issues, and produce a better console. RROD, spare this console, please.

These are Great. This xbox 360 is a great value for your money. I just wish mine had the new jasper motherboards instead of the falcon ones. It is. When I bought this, I wasn't expecting it to be as good of quality as the premuim or elite versions. I bought a 20 gig hard drive and popped it in this baby and within 2 weeks or so I had already beaten GTA4. I still am yet to experience xbox live but I heard it's great.

I play it with gears of war (can't wait for #2 to come out ,) the trouble I have with it though (its enough for now) I can't play system link with others without a hard-drive. I've owned this console for 2weeks. Just recently I found out that GameStop is selling refurbished (USED) 20GB HDD's for a good price. My family saved up enough to get me this. I come from a very large family (11 people - not including adults ,) so we're almost always poor. I enjoy it everyday. I'm hoping I can get this.The 256MB Memory Unit that comes with it is fine for now.
