I've played Rock band before and i love it. This time i ordered it my Playstaion didn't work so i was unable to play it. But Rock Band is an excellent game.
Can anyone tell me, if this will play on Model #: SCPH-70012, purchase in Dec. 2004.My daughter played it at a friends and loved it, and I would like to now get it for her birthday. However, I am on a limited budget, so I need to find out it will play in her PS2 first, so I don't lose $100+.Thanks In Advance for anyone that can shed some light on this matter.
My recourse. Got it home, set everything up, inserted the game, and nothing. Just a word of warning. Not EA's problem. So my next step was to try to contact EA customer support. I purchased this bundle yesterday from another retailer(Target). Well EA is aware of at least 7 different production runs of PS2's that have been reported as not being able to read the game. Call Sony, or take the game back and try to get my money back.
I'm going to try to call Sony today and see where I get, mostly because I don't want to repack everything. After I finally got a live person, I found out that EA is suing Sony over this game because apparently the game is on something called a multi-layed disk. I investigated to make sure it was not something on my end, but my console reads everything else I have fine. Which Sony told EA all PS2's would be able to read. I'll update with what happens.But for now, if you have a PS2, I recommend checking into this by contacting Sony to make sure your system will read these multi-layered disks before you waste your time.
I am so happy that I purchased it. This is a great family game. I enjoy playing the game with them. that I have ever spent. It is the best [.]. My kids absolutely loves this game. It is great family fun.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star, was b/c I played it on PS3 and there were a few more options available, such as making own characters and such. But I don't own the PS3, so I have to take what I get.Great game, great for entertaining, and rocking it out.Wish when battling and such you didn't have to add the same instrument./own 2 of that instrument, but whatev.Doesn't see much action if you're not entertianing, but it does what it does
