We have had games fall out while carrying the game chamber because a door just slides open. When we first got the game chamber it was very stiff and the little doors were hard to open. It is very convenient to have a place to store the little ds games. It has gotten easier with use but there are still some doors that are hard to open and some that slide open way too easily. Overall, my daughter likes the game chamber and I like that all her little games aren't all over the place now.
It would have gotten five stars if the operation was a little better but I would recommend it and have even gotten one for myself. This organizer has kept us from losing games and that is good enough for me. Update: My son and I have been using these cases for several months and both are holding up great. He does put his games away each time now. It drove me crazy to spend a ton of money on a cartridge only to have my son misplace it. At first I thought it seemed a little flimsy, and you do have to fiddle with it to get it to rotate sometimes, but it has held up very well. I still recommend these highly.
It teaches children what we've been nagging all along: "Put one game away before you get a new one out, and then you won't lose them." Love it love it love it. This is the perfect solution. Those little game cards are so easy to lose.it's maddening because they're also expensive. Takes a little practice for a kid to work it, but this thing is foolproof. Now, if we can just keep up with the game chamber itself.
After I got all 6 games in and labeled the back, my husband asked "how do you change the games once they are bored with these." Good question, since you label the back. now you have to put a new label over the other one. I bought this product based on other reviews. Boy was I wrong.
It gets sloppy looking. DOn't waste your money. ALso once you have 6 games in the case, you have to put one game back in to get another one out. THis is great at holding the games in one place, but they are very difficult in getting back out.
Good in theory, but not practicle. I invested in a lunch box, easier and cheaper.
This item is great. This is a grat invention. As any parent who's kid has a DS they know how easy it is to loose those little cartridges. We have not lost any games since getting this.
